When you work with DORS, you will feel independent and confident in your abilities.

As a part of our Developmental Disabilities services, Family Service Foundation works with individuals to help them find a job based on their skill level. We often train and assist our clients with assistance in developing and building their resumes through job tryouts, shadowing, and informative interviews. FSF often coordinates with DORS to help our clients find the right position for them. But what exactly is DORS and how can it help you and your loved one? Recognizing the Warning Signs of Suicide

Suicide is not something you should ignore. Take a look at some of these warning signs and remember that there are people who can help.

Depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and postpartum depression are all mental illnesses with a high risk of suicide. While these mental illnesses are treatable with medication and therapy, there are many individuals who never seek treatment for their illness. At Family Service Foundation (FSF), a social services organization in Baltimore, Maryland, we are dedicated to providing advocacy and support to individuals with mental and physical disabilities that have recently left inpatient settings. Integration back into the community can be difficult; for that reason, each member of our team works to provide services specifically tailored to each individual and family that we work with. We believe that all individuals can achieve their highest levels of social, physical, and emotional well-being in the community when they have the proper support. FSF specializes in serving Deaf, Deaf-Blind, and individuals with intellectual disabilities.
