Family Services Foundation offers outpatient mental health clinic services for the community, including psychiatric rehabilitation and residential rehabilitation for those with severe or chronic mental illness. Our staff is trained and certified in these areas and dedicated to helping those who seek our services. We are also equipped to serve deaf and deaf/blind clients. In addition, we employ two full time interpreters who are fully fluent in American Sign Language and available to our Deaf clients and staff.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program
When an individual has been diagnosed with a chronic mental illness, the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program at Family Service Foundation can provide a caring, structured atmosphere.
Designed to function as a rehabilitation facility, our program offers groups, workshops, and classes to assist participants and help them become more independent. We believe that by being person centered and planning driven, our program encourages participants to more easily manage their lives, and overcome challenges.
Eligibility to the program is granted after assessment with one of our supervisors. Those who are coming to Family Service Foundation from another program should bring their diagnosis with them for the assessment. While we do not accept private insurance, we participate with patients on medical assistance.
Interpreters who are qualified and fluent in American Sign Language are available throughout the day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for our Deaf clients.
Residential Rehabilitation Program
Family Service Foundation residential rehabilitation program offers care for three separate groups of patients. Due to state regulations, hopeful participants must visit our offices, complete an application with a staff member, and then have it submitted to our core service agency for review.
Our intensive and general support sections of this program provide supportive services that may include living skills training and similar instruction. Staffed by experts with experience and knowledge, this part of the residential rehabilitation program is paid by each patient’s social security account.
A third option is our supported living facility, which is open to members of the community who function as their own representative payee. Life skills and experiences are highly encouraged in this facility in an effort to help members reconnect to the community. Qualified, certified staff members assist residents with shopping, meal planning, cooking, and daily household chores including cleaning and home maintenance.
