FSF Is Awarded MTA
Grant
FSF is very pleased to announce that the Mass Transit
Administration has awarded the agency a transportation grant which
will cover 80% of the cost for two new paratransit buses with
wheelchair lifts. The buses will be used to transport our
residential and day program consumers to Baltimore and Landover Hills.
The grant also includes a computer tracking system and communication
devices to facilitate the smooth and efficient operation of our
transportation grant.
Kudos to Harry Neal, Operation Manager, and all the
other staff who assisted in the grant development and submission
process. FSF also thanks all the other community providers and
agencies that provided letters of support and offered guidance. |
