Does the Board of Directors Do?
Family Service Foundation’s Board is responsible for:
- Fundraising to support programs
- Setting the policies of the agency
- Reviewing and approving use and receipt of all funds
- Adopting, reviewing or revising agency personnel policies
as necessary
- Performing other duties as needed to fulfill the purpose and
objectives of the agency
What does FSF seek in a Board member?
Individuals who are knowledgeable and skilled in the following
areas:
- Finance
- Personnel
- Planning
- Business
- Public Relations/Fundraising
- Volunteer Coordination

- To share skills learned in business, finance, public relations
and fundraising;

- To assist FSF in fulfilling its vital mission; that of:
- maintaining the stability of healthy families by providing
services to solve family and personal problem;
- providing critical counseling and habilitation services
to special populations, such as deaf, deaf-blind, mentally
ill and developmentally disabled persons;
- raising public awareness with the goal of improving the
social welfare of citizens.
