What Does the Board of Directors Do?

Family Service Foundation’s Board is responsible for:

  • Fundraising to support programs
  • Setting the policies of the agency
  • Reviewing and approving use and receipt of all funds
  • Adopting, reviewing or revising agency personnel policies as necessary
  • Performing other duties as needed to fulfill the purpose and objectives of the agency

What does FSF seek in a Board member?

Individuals who are knowledgeable and skilled in the following areas:

  • Finance
  • Personnel

  • Public Relations/Fundraising
  • Volunteer Coordination
