This Thanksgiving, we have a lot to give thanks for. We give thanks to our service members, our families and loved ones, and even the little things that keep us going throughout the day. We also hope our patients, readers, and supporters have time to spend with their loved ones this year, one of the most important parts of the holiday season.

Reality of Rage: More Need Anger Management than You’d Think

Many are shocked, and sometimes offended, when they’re told they should consider anger management. But recent studies show statistics that imply no one should be shocked. A Duke University study earlier this year found that nearly “1 in 10 adults has impulsive anger issues”. The truth is, explosive or impulsive anger is a lot more common than you’d think, and it’s a treatable issue that is nothing to be ashamed of.

At Family Service Foundation (FSF), a social services organization in Baltimore, Maryland, we are dedicated to providing advocacy and support to individuals with mental and physical disabilities that have recently left inpatient settings.
