Family Service Foundation (FSF) is a nonprofit human service organization dedicated to meeting the mental health and social support needs of people across Maryland.
We provide mental health services, substance abuse counseling; community residential programs for those with developmental disabilities and/or severe mental illness; and day habilitation.
FSF specializes in serving deaf and deaf-blind individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health concerns. Full-time interpreters fluent in American Sign Language are available at all locations.

Many of us face challenges on life’s road: unemployment, poverty, discrimination, advancing age, or disabilities of one sort or the other. But those we serve at Family Service Foundation – individuals with developmental disabilities and adults with chronic or severe mental illness – face a particularly steep climb. It is a path not of their choosing or responsibility.
