National Prevention Week

National Prevention Week

Family Service Foundation (FSF) is a nonprofit human service organization dedicated to meeting the mental health and social support needs of people across Maryland.

We provide mental health services, substance abuse counseling; community residential programs for those with developmental disabilities and/or severe mental illness; and day habilitation.

FSF specializes in serving deaf and deaf-blind individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health concerns. Full-time interpreters fluent in American Sign Language are available at all locations.

Headquartered in Landover Hills, Maryland, in Prince George’s County, we have satellite offices and programs in Frederick and Baltimore, Maryland, as well as Montgomery County.”

Welcome to Family Services Foundation

We are an active part of the Deaf Community. We have trained American Sign Language interpreters on site. We provide services to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals who need guidance, education or support.

Developmental Disabilities

Our intellectual disabilities services are built around the person based on their needs and preferences. Through Person-Centered Planning, each person is supported in reaching their hopes and dreams.

Mental Health

Our mental health clinic is available for members of the community, and our mental health program provides a circle of services, including psychiatric rehabilitation and residential rehabilitation.

We employ two qualified full time interpreters who are fully fluent in American Sign Language and available to our Deaf clients and staff. This allows members of FSF to provide our complete range of services and help.
